Soil samples were collected from beneath
the 3 USTs. One sample result from the product oil UST had a result of 32 ppm oil. All
other results were below detection limits.
08/04/94 The UST piping was removed and dispenser islands assessed under EHD permit and
inspection. Soil samples were collected and analyzed. Gasoline was detected at 5.8 ppm
and oil was detected at 460 ppm in soil in the piping trenches.
08/22/94 EHD completed and filed a UAR for the site and required additional assessment to
evaluate the contamination from the USTs and piping.
09/23/94 Groundwater Technology submitted a report which summarized the finding during piping
removal in Aug. 1994.
11/08/99 IT completed six DPT borings to collect additional soil samples for analyses in areas of
the former oil and gasoline USTs.
02/10/00 IT submitted a report which contained the results from the DPT sampling and request of
site closure. Diesel concentrations of 4.8 ppm and lead concentrations of 67 ppm were
evidenced in soil collected.
07/20/01 A Case Closure Summary and chronology was completed and this site will be referred to
the CVRWQCB for closure concurrence.
CHRONSEARS5110
