File No. 52640-13360 . <br /> Dear Ton: <br /> Enclosed please find the technical response of our Engineers, <br /> Leedshill-Herkenhoff, Inc. , to your comments on our initial Work <br /> Plan, which was submitted to you for the Lincoln Property site. <br /> The Work Plan has been amended as follows to address your con- <br /> cerns regarding the scope and thoroughness of the Phase I investiga- <br /> tion: <br /> 1 . Determine hydrogeological conditions of the site by "punch <br /> coring" to full depth at one of the proposed monitoring well loca- <br /> tions. <br /> 2 . Collect and analyze water/sludge samples collected from <br /> sanitary sewers on Lincoln Village Center and near Lincoln Village <br /> Wells No. 1 and No. 6 . <br /> 3 . Collect and analyze soil samples obtained from slant <br /> drilled, hollow stem auger borings located in the material beneath <br /> the sanitary sewers. <br /> 4 . Collect and analyze soil samples obtained from beneath the <br /> existing concrete floor slab of Finest Care Cleaners and Village <br /> Cleaners. <br /> 5 . If TEC and/or PEC contamination is found to be migrating <br /> off site, then it will be necessary to locate samples and analyze <br /> ground water samples from existing wells used for domestic consump- <br /> tion down grading of Lincoln Center. <br />
