11eving Fricke-at
ENGINEERS,If EQIOGISTS 6 A PUED SpENi1ST5
keep all equipment in place during the duration ofthe work. Other than cordoning off the work
area using traffic cones and barrier tape, no other traffic control measures are anticipated.
Proposed Schedule
We are requesting access to Lincoln Center for the period of May 18 through May 30, 1997, to
Perform the drilling activities described above. We anticipate that the work would take
approximately five to seven days to complete. Active drilling will be performed during nighttime
hours (10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.) as defined in your'letter of March 31, 1997, which granted access
for the MW-21 evaluation. During non-active periods (9 a.m. to 10 p.m.), all equipment would
remain in place as necessary within the work area and would be protected by a security guard. If
the work progresses at a rate that will require continuation of drilling beyond the weekend, the
work tasks scheduled for the last night of the work week(Thursday) will be sequenced so that all
possible extraneous.equipment can be moved off site to Minimize rs
the weekend. Regardless of this effort, a minimum of four parking paces will ion to need to 1e eover
blocked over the weekend.
The exact start date for this work will be selected based on the drillers' schedule, completion of
boring permits, and granting of access by LPL. We will notify you no later than 72 hours before
work begins. In accordance with item 2C.2 of the draft Task List from the April 30, 1997 Periodic
Meeting, please respond to this request by noon on May 14, 1997.
Please call me if you have any questions concerning our recommendation.
Sincerely,
Donald T.
