This work is ongoing. • The shallow and deep soil-vapor investigation was conducted in and around suspected source areas along selected sanitary sewer lines at Lincoln Center from August 12 through September 22, 1997. The shallow and deep soil-vapor investigation was conducted at plume perimeter locations on Gettysburg Place, McClellan Way, and Vicksburg Place from September 10 through 24, 1997. This work is ongoing. • Survey activities were conducted on August 13 through 15, 1997. Survey activities included obtaining top-of-casing elevations for newly installed monitoring wells and horizontal locations and ground surface elevations for the soil-vapor samples and CPT/PIPP borings advanced during the source area investigation and the Interim Remedial Action field scoping activities. Document Submittals The following documents were completed and issued during the bimonthly period: • Permit applications for field activities, including the plume perimeter and source area investigations, were submitted to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division; San Joaquin County Department of Public Works; and City of Stockton Department of Public Works. • The "Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report, April 1 through June 30, 1997 (Second Quarter 1997), Lincoln Center, Stockton, California" was issued on August 29, 1997.
