The document
proposes a change in the data validation procedure from Level IV performed by an independent
data validator to Level III performed by LFR. LFR states that it has been performing Level III
data validation for the Lincoln Center chemical data since November 1995 in addition to the
independent Level IV data validation. Based on this historic comparison, LFR found that the
Level III data validation produced the same data validation results. The letter also agrees that if a
future Level IV data validation is necessary, raw data can be obtained from the analytical
laboratory. Therefore, the proposed change in the data validation procedure, from independent
Level IV to LFR Level III, is approved.
If you have any questions, you may call me at(916) 255-2077.
KIT C,/
TIS
Engineering Geologist
cc: San Joaquin County Environmental Health, Stockton
Mr. A.J.
