. RPR 28 '98 10:44 FR LEVINE-FRICKE-RECON 510 6524906 TO 12094683433 P.07i19
Levine-Fricke•Recon
and permits are granted, and the final schedule is determined, LFR will provide you with 48-hour
notice of the actual start dates.
We anticipate that the CPT/PIPP work will be conducted in late April and will require
approximately eight nights to complete. After access and permits are granted, and the final
schedule is determined, LFR will provide you with 48-hour notice of the actual start dates.
Pipeline and Well Vault Installation Schedule
The exact schedule for these field activities will not be known until the contractor for the project
has been selected and has decided on the phasing of the work. All construction is currently
scheduled to occur at Lincoln Center beginning on May 18, 1998 and will end on or about August
18, 1998. To minimize disruption to tenants and their customers, and any other shoppers at
Lincoln Center, field activities along Pacific Avenue will be conducted generally between the
hours of 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday evenings. Activities along
Gettysburg Place and behind the Rite Aid store will generally occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on
Monday through Friday. After the final schedule is determined, LFR will provide you with 48-
hour notice of the actual start dates.
System Startup Schedule
The system startup activities are scheduled to occur during the months of August and September
1998. These activities will not be intrusive or require the use of heavy equipment, therefore, LFR
will conduct startup activities during the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. LFR will provide you with 48-
hour notice of which wells we will need to access.
Permitting
Before LFR can install the groundwater extraction wells, piezometers, and CPT/PIPP borings on
the Subject Property, we must obtain well permits from the San Joaquin County Public Health
Services, Environmental Health Division(SJC PHS/EHD). To issue the permits, the SJC
PHS/EHD must have written permission from the property owner to conduct the work.
Therefore, in accordance with the terms of the Access Agreements, we will need permission
to conduct these proposed field activities by April 13, 1998, to begin the field work in late
April 1998. Please sign the acknowledgment in the space indicated, transmit the signed document
to me via facsimile at (510) 652-4906, and return the original document to me in the enclosed self-
addressed, postage-paid envelope.
W-Acmn-Fatm•Ex w¢I13-041 I I:SRL 6
