Mike Infurna EH
From: Mike Infurna [EH]
Sent: Tuesday, September 14, 2004 4:34 PM
To: 'Bean, Melissa'
ents to Complete Permit Application
Subject: RE: Lincoln Center Docum
thank you for finally getting me the things you have to have on file with SJCEHD to issue
a permit. .
when I find the top of my desk, I'll check thru your site info and see what's up or down,
missing or needed. .
for the future and as a gentle reminder. . .
this phase has been in limbo a long time (incomplete application/submittals on my desk
since Aug 17) . to get me the papers now and SET a drill date in less than a week without
the permits ISSUED puts me in a rush mode to meet YOUR schedule. .
I'm really not too thrilled about being rushed on a site that has sat for a month.
please, in the future, DO NOT set your ,drill date before you hear from me that the permit
(s) have been issued. I cannot confirm your drill date until the permit (s) have been
issued. If you must rush me (and less than a week is a rush) , have a Plan B ready for
another date to drill. Permits are good for a year from issue. Sometime back a month or
two, someone there must have had an idea that this drill was going to happen. THat's the
time to check with me, find out what you need to do, and get it to me. I can issue the
permit months ahead and they will still be good if you schedule the drill within a year of
issue.
I shouldn't be the last one to know about the drill date if the permit hasn't been issued.
Now don't think I'm angry. I'm not. I haven't worked directly with you so this is my way
of letting you know that THIS way you have planned this IS NOT the best for me. Others
felt
timed Iowilludoamy bestpttodmetnto yourhis rush zone schedule. Nextntime, youemaymnotlbetasfhot air. THIS
hve fortunate,
I have a CVRWQCB meeting most of tomorrow and training in Monterey County all day Thurs.
This leaves me about an hour tomorrow or Friday between inspections to meet your schedule.
I will let you know either tomorrow am if it can happen or you may have to hear from me
Friday. .
I recommend you check out alternate days for starting this phase as a precaution.
----Original Message-----
From: Bean, Melissa [mailto:Melissa.Bean@lfr.com]
Sent: Tuesday, September 14, 2004 1:39 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: Rao, Ramkishore
Subject: Lincoln Center Documents to Complete Permit Application
Mike,
Please find attached the following documents to complete the Lincoln Center
Permit Application:
(1) RWQCB Approval Letter
(2) Site Location Map
(3) Site Plan showing boring locations for DPE-1, DPE-2, and SM-1
(4) Well Schematics
The drilling is scheduled to start Monday, September 20, 2004, at 10:00 pm.
The work schedule is as follows:
Monday (9/20/04) at 10:00 pm to Tuesday (9/21/04) at 7:00 am
Tuesday (9/21/04) at 10:00 pm to Wednesday (9/22/04) at 7:00 am
We will be installing DPE-1 and DPE-2 first.
