As discussed in our telephone conversation, LFR Inc is submitting these
permit applications to supplement the November 9, 2005 well permit previously submitted. The
contractor for the work has been switched to Precision Sampling Inc (Original permit was for
Vironix). In addition, further research revealed that the work will take place over two separate
parcels, therefore requiring two separate permit applications.
LFR will advance up to 14 soil borings (MIP-1, MIP-2, MIP-3, MIP-4, MIP-5, MIP-6, MIP-7,
MIP-8, MIP-9, MIP-10, MIP-11, MIP-12, MIP-13, and MIP-14) within the Lincoln Center
parking lots located no and south of Benjamin Holt Drive (Figure 1). The work is scheduled to
take place from'Monday January 16, 2006 through Friday January 20, 2006. The soil borings will
utilize membrane interphase probe (MIP) technology, and will be advanced to approximately 75
feet below ground surface (bgs) with a direct push drill rig. This project is being completed with
the oversight of the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB).
