We are aware that ground-water samples obtained from these wells are
required to be analyzed for fecal-coliform. We also recognize that these samples need to be
analyzed within 24 hours of collection.
In order to protect the health of individuals involved, precautions will be taken if discolored soil
is encountered, if sewage odors are noted, or If PID readings taken at chest level above either
boring exceed 50 parts per million during drilling of the two wells, If any one of the three
conditions are encountered, operations will be stopped and appropriate safety gear will he
donned. In addition to standard issue (level D -chemical resistant boots, hard hat, safety glasses,
tyvek or cloth coveralls, long sleeve shirts), this would include half-face respirators fitted with
organic vapor/dust cartridges.
A updated site plan showing all sewer lines, proposed well locations, with 50 foot radii drawn
around the wells, is enclosed,
If you have any questions, please contact our office.
Yours faithfully,
$c ' ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, INC
gale S.
