Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Mike Infurna [EH]
Sent: Friday, September 18, 2009 8:13 AM
To: 'Barclay, Diane'
Subject: RE: 7647 Pacific Avenue, Stockton
thank you
From: Barclay, Diane [mailto:Diane.Barclay@stantec.com]
Sent: Thursday, September 17, 2009 5:06 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: Lathrop, Shelby S (Shaw Environmental, Inc.)
Subject: 7647 Pacific Avenue, Stockton
Hello Mike,
I left you a phone message because I thought it was time for a status update on 7647 Pacific Avenue,
Stockton. COP and Thrifty have made progress on the access agreement, but it is still not completed, and
there seem to be a couple sticking points that remain to be worked through.
Here is a list of what has been accomplished since COP assumed responsibility several months ago:
• Air and water discharge permits transferred to COP
• Second quarter summary report submitted, recommending monitoring during the second and fourth
quarters (with some wells only sampled annually during the second quarter)
• Monthly POTW reports completed
• File reviews completed
• Draft cross sections prepared
• Draft SCM prepared, currently in internal review
• Performed a drive-by check of site status; it looked like the garbage had been removed
We had scheduled a third quarter monitoring because the second quarter was not done due to access, but
it looks like we won't have access. We have scheduled the fourth quarter monitoring, and are optimistic
that the access agreement will be done in time. We were hoping to be able to go onsite to check the map
before we finalized the cross sections and SCM, but if we are not able to do that soon, we will submit the
SCM anyway and amend as necessary later.
We will keep you posted on the access agreement progress and site status. Please feel free to call or
email if you have questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Diane
Diane Barclay, PG, CEG, CHG
Principal Geologist
Stantec
3017 Kilgore Road Suite 100
Rancho Cordova CA 95670
Ph: (916)384-0744
Fx: (916)861-0430
Cell: (916)812-3608
diane.barclay@stantec_com
1/27/2010
