Kirk Larson, PG, and Robert Trommer, CHG <br /> State Water Resources Control Board <br /> Division of Financial Assistance <br /> 1001 1 Street <br /> Sacramento CA 95814 <br /> Subject: 7647 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA <br /> Annual Five-Year Review Update Recommendations April 2011 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed the <br /> annual five-year review update letter dated 15 March 2011 from Kirk Larson of the State Water <br /> Quality Control Board (SWQCB) Cleanup Fund (CUF) for the above-referenced site. The CUF <br /> recommended that the EHD direct the responsible party (RP) to implement a cost effective- <br /> remediation without delay. <br /> The service station is currently under reconstruction, which has necessitated destruction of <br /> numerous onsite wells. Upon completion of the reconstruction, the RP has agreed to reinstall <br /> monitoring and vapor wells, reevaluate site conditions, and if appropriate reinitiate soil vapor <br /> extraction and air sparging.
