. TPH-g, BTEX, and MTBE concentrations appear in Table 1 and Appendix B The TPH-g,
benzene, and MTBE isoconcentration maps are presented in Figures 2, 3, and 4. The only
detectable concentrations of TPH-g, benzene, and MTBE were found in well MW-11 (5,000 ug/L,
1,440 ug/L,and 1,110 ug/L),respectively None of the other wells had any detectable hydrocarbons
Since the third quarter of 1997, Thrifty has analyzed for the requested oxygenates di-isopropyl
ether, ethanol, ethyl-tert butyl ethyl, methanol,tert-amyl methyl ether, tert-butanol, and methyl tert-
butyl ether(MTBE)by method 8260 For the First Quarter 2000, results above detection limits were
detected in monitoring well MW-11 for MTBE at 1,110 ug/L No other oxygenates were detected
above laboratory method detection limits The analytical laboratory results are presented in
Appendix A
Summary and Recommendations
On December 7, 1999, the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division(PHSIEHD) approved The Corrective Action Plan ((CAP), August 18, 1999) for this site
Thnfty is in the process of acquiring the necessary equipment and utilities(gas and electrical) which
will be installed on this site for remediation, and will initiate permitting with the San Joaquin Air
Pollution Control District for vapor discharge and the Stockton Sanitation District for the water
discharge Once all the necessary permits have been obtained, the system(s) will be installed, tested
for operational problems, and when this has been completed placed into operation If one permitting
• process is completed before the others (vapor or water), then whichever process is completed first,
that system will be placed into operation
Thrifty will continue quarterly groundwater monitoring, gauging, purging and sampling of all
groundwater monitoring wells
All interpretations expressed in this report are based upon review of data collected by EMC
Written by Reviewed by
,✓Rorrra FtED GF0
F-x •- in
No 0027 e p Q Q'f f•ldl ` PA
prea` 'c
c b No
r
and C 1riednchs A II4oe Larry Higinbotham 9 Q-
Project Manager OFCALI+a®4 Registered Geologist 49F C;aF
Senior Hydrogeologist vv
i
