As noted, soil samples collected from the excavation floor will also be analyzed for <br /> oxygenates by EPA Method 8260B. <br /> 3_ As noted, the existing wells will be re-sampled to indicate how contaminant <br /> concentrations may have reacted to the excavation and de-watering activities. <br /> Finally, as requested by the city of Ripon, the soil and groundwater encountered in the <br /> excavation will be further tested to determine its hazard potential. To evaluate whether <br /> subsurface soil and groundwater is hazardous, exclusive of any other listed hazardous waste, <br /> one soil sample and one groundwater sample will be tested for reactivity, corrosivity and <br /> ignitability(RCI).
