To obtain a copy,please contact the State Water Resources Control Board at (916) 657-2390. <br /> The "Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations For Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of <br /> Underground Tank Sites"along with its"Appendix A " and"Appendix B"should be used as guidance <br /> documents. All work and reports which require geological or engineering evaluations must be <br /> performed under the direction of an appropriately California registered or certified professional. <br /> A Remedial Action Completion letter will be provided after PHS/EHD has determined that no <br /> further site investigation or remedial action is required. <br /> Soil and grab groundwater samples were collected beneath the former underground storage tank (UST) <br /> in a preliminary site assessment performed by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. Analytical results of <br /> the grab water sample were 262 parts per billion (ppb) Benzene, 1471 ppb Toluene, 672 ppb <br /> Ethylbenzene, 3618 ppb Xylenes, 7 ppb Methyl-t-Butyl Ether, and 13,000 ppb Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons as Gasoline. Analytical results of the soil also indicated the presence of petroleum, and <br /> field screening with photoionization detection (PID) indicated the presence of petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> as deep as 80 feet below surface grade.
