GROUND WATER DEPTH AND FLOW DIRECTION As stated in the Preliminary Site AssessE nt Work Plan prepared by AGE, Ground water depth in the area of the site is estimated to b -65 to 70 feet below face grade, based upon the map Lines of Equal Depth to Ground Water in Wel s- prmg ,prepared by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. Regional flow direction is northerly. 3.0. SCOPE OF WORK Based upon analytical results of soil samples collected from probe boring P1, the PHS-EHD will Based determination of the lateral and vertical extent of impacted soil prior to closure consideration./ AGE proposes to advance soil borings at the site to determine the lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impact and determine if ground water has been affected. In addition to the former UST location,the investigation will include the advancement of soil borings in the following areas, not sampled during the initial investigation: • An in-ground hydraulic lift located inside the garage area. • A two stage separator/clarifier located inside the garage area. The on-site domestic well will also be sampled for petroleum hydrocarbons. The scope of work will include the following tasks: • Permitting and pre-field work activities; • Soil sample collection and analysis; • Grab ground water collection and analysis; • Completion of borings as ground water monitoring wells (if appropriate); and • Report preparation. 3.1.
