I ' 07 September 2005 AGE-NC Project No 98-0540 ' Page 6 of 9 ' cemented sand were identified below 95 feet bsg, with thinner (approximately 3 feet thick) layers of silt and sand encountered at approximately 120 feet, 130 feet, and 137 feet bsg The CPT computer-generated boring log is Included in Appendix B Boring logs for MW-4 and MW-5 are ' provided in Appendix C ' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF CPT GRAB GROUND WATER SAMPLES A total of three grab ground water samples were collected on 13 October 2004 and submitted for laboratory analysis for the constituents listed in Section 2 12 TPH-g was detected in all three samples(CPT 1-117-120,CPT I-129-132,and CPT 1-135-13 8)at concentrations of 1,400 micrograms per liter(µg/1), 340 µg/l, and 1,400 µg/l, respectively IBTEX compounds were detected in all three samples at maximum concentrations of 180µg/1 toluene (CPTI-1 17-120),57µg11 ethylbenzene(CPT1-117-120),and 490µg/1 total xylenes(CPT1-135-138) I1,2-DCA was detected In sample CPT1-135-138 at a concentration of 8 3 µg/1 EDB was detected in samples CPT1-117-120 and CPT1-135-138 at concentrations of 2µg/l and 14µg/l,respectively No additional petroleum hydrocarbon constituents were detected at or above laboratory reporting g limits The laboratory report(CTEL Project No CT214-0410086),quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC)reports, and chain of custody form are included in Appendix F Analytical results for the CPT gram ground water samples are summarized in Table 2 3 3 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES IA total of two soil samples,collected from borings MW-4 and MW-5 at a depth of 70 feet bsg,were analyzed for the constituents listed in Section 2 1 2 ,no analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the soil samples Analytical results of soil samples are summarized in Table 3 The laboratory report(CTEL Project No CT214-0506186), QA/QC reports, and chain of custody forms are Included in Appendix G 3 4 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER MONITORING SAMPLES During the lune 2005 ground water monitoring event,TPH-g was detected in samples collected from wells MW-1 and MW-3 at equivalent concentrations of 300 µg/1 .
