Hwy. 99 Frontage Rd., Lodi, CA
Dear Mr. Atkinson:
As per today's phone conversation I am writing to provide you with a brief workplan for collecting soil
samples from a boring in "Pond 2" at the subject property.
Workplan
In accordance with item No. 2 in your letter dated March 24, 2000, Ground Zero will supervise the
drilling and sampling of one soil boring. The boring will be placed at previous sampling location C4.5
(see attached map).
Spectrum Exploration (C-57 512268) will advance the boring using hollow stem auger equipment. The
boring will be drilled to first groundwater, estimated to occur at approximately 45 feet below ground
surface (bgs). Upon completion the boring will be backfilled to the surface with neat cement grout. Soil
samples will be collected for lithologic description and laboratory analysis at five foot intervals from 15
feet bgs to total depth. Samples will be submitted to State-certified A&L Western Labs for analysis of
total dissolved solids, chloride and sodium using a DI WET extraction procedure. Analytical results and
a boring log will be included in a brief report which will be submitted to the RWQCB and San Joaquin
Co. PHS/EHD. -
If you require any additional information please contact me at your convenience.
6i QED F
Respectfully, G
l,c' OHO
Grou ero Analysis,
c' +/'/ GREGORY P.
Gregory P.
