Barrel Ten Quarter Circle Land Company -2- 27 February 2017
Installation Report which will also include a narrative justifying the well locations and
explanations for deviations from the Work Plan.
The installation of new monitoring wells must be permitted through San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department. Once installed, the new wells shall be included in the
routine monitoring activities required by the Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP) R5-2009-
0038 until new or amended WDRs are adopted. The newly adopted WDRs will have an
updated MRP, which will include monitoring requirements for the new and existing monitoring
wells. Based on the above information, the Work Plan is approved with the understanding that
the initial groundwater sample will be analyzed for nitrate as nitrogen, as required in the MRP.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (916) 464-4740 or
dcalanchini(a6-waterboards.ca.aov.
Dina Calanchini
Engineering Geologist
Waste Discharge to Land Permitting Unit
Attachments: Requirements for Monitoring Well Installation Workplans and Monitoring Well
Installation Reports
cc: Rodney Estrada, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Alicia Stamps, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, San Francisco
