Kennedy/Jenks Consultants
Section 1: Introduction
This Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan (Work Plan) has been prepared by Kennedy/Jenks
Consultants (Kennedy/Jenks) on behalf of Barrel Ten Quarter Circle Land Company (BTQCLC)
for the Escalon Winery (Winery) located at 21801 Highway 120 Escalon, California (Figure 1).
The Winery land applies process water at the Winery under Waste Discharge Requirements
(WDR) Order No. R5-2009-0038.
The Work Plan was prepared for installation of two new monitoring wells and one replacement
monitoring well at the Winery. The two new monitoring wells are intended to monitor
groundwater downgradient of proposed new land application areas (LAA). The replacement
monitoring well replaces upgradient monitoring well MW-6 that has been dry since 2014.
BTQCLC is in the process of preparing documentation for an updated WDR to incorporate the
new LAA into its process water management practices. The two new monitoring wells will
provide groundwater conditions prior to the application of process water on the new LAA. The
existing monitoring well network, existing LAA and proposed LAA are shown on Figure 2.
Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, Page 1
Barrel Ten Quarter Circle Land Company, Escalon, California
I\SPOIGroupsU S-GroupWdminUobQ3103011827_BTQC LC109-ReportslMW-Install-W Plniteztdoc
