PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS <br /> Field personnel and visitors are required to wear the following clothing and equipment, as a minimum, <br /> while on the site: <br /> • Hard hat <br /> • Safety glasses <br /> ■ Long sleeved shirts <br /> • Long legged pants <br /> Field personnel engaged in work operations are required to wear the following additional equipment: <br /> ■ Boots (steel-toed) <br /> ■ Gloves <br /> ■ Hearing protection <br /> • Respirators with OV cartridges will be within each reach <br /> 10. EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br /> In the event of an accident resulting in physical injury, first aid will be administered, and the injured <br /> worker will be transported to the St. Joseph Oak Park Hospital for emergency treatment (Figure 2). A <br /> physician's attention is required regardless of the severity of the injury. <br /> In the event of fire, explosion, or property damage, the local fire or response agencies will be called. <br />
