Lisa Medina [EH]
From: Nuel Henderson [EH]
Sent: Wednesday,July 24, 2013 11:05 AM
To: Lisa Medina [EH].
Subject: RE: 3978 S Hwy 99 - Domestic Well Analyses
Lisa,
I was not aware of the 2012 results, which are good as far as they go. The GW data for the wells shows TPHd and
TPHmo, which cleans up fairly well with silica gel cleanup, but still had some response. Both constituents are typically less
mobile than TPHg, but we should verify their absence in this drinking water well so close to the plume. Due diligence for
everybody is served by testing the well. Based on the 2012 results, the samples only need to be analyzed for TPHd and
TPHmo.
Nuel
From: Lisa Medina [EH]
Sent: Wednesday, July 24, 2013 9:27 AM
To: Nuel Henderson [EH]
Subject: FW: 3978 S Hwy 99 - Domestic Well Analyses
Nuel,
The most recent sampling is attached above. Please advise.Thanks.
Lisa
From: Sobieraj, Justin [mailto•Justin.Sobieraparcadis-us.com]
Sent: Wednesday, July 24, 2013 7:24 AM
To: Lisa Medina [EH]
Cc: Nickens, Amber; Brian A. Waite (BWaite(dchevron.com)
Subject: RE: 3978 S Hwy 99 Domestic Well.Analyses
Lisa-
It is my understanding that domestic well DW-1 was sampled last year due to the property owner's concerns
regarding the 'data gap' between 2006 and 2012. Analytical results from samples collected during 2005, 2006,
and 2012 indicate that this well has not been impacted (all results are 'non-detect').The cross gradient location
of this well to the site further indicates that the well will not be impacted by any of the former site activities.
Could you please clarify why SJEHD would like to have DW-1 sampled again?
Thank you,
Justin Sobieraj,PG I Senior Geologist Ilustiri sobierajCcarcadis-us.com
ARCADIS U.S., Inc. 12000 Powell Street, 7th Floor l Emeryville, California 94608
T: 510.596.9684 1 M:415.858.8310 `
www.arcadis-us.com
ARCADIS, Imagine the result
Please consider the environment before printing this email.
1
