(ERI) received the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division(the County) letter dated November 20, 1998 via fax on November 24, <br /> 1998 (at 4:08 p.m)and in todays mail regarding comments to the November 12, 1998 Workplan <br /> submitted by ERI for the subject site On behalf of Union Oil Company of California (Unocal), ERI is <br /> requesting an extension of the requested addendum submittal date of December 2, 1998 to December <br /> 9, 1998- Upon receipt of the letter, ERI attempted to contact several of Unocal's key personnel <br /> in this site who were away from the office (Thanksgiving Holidays) and will not return to the <br /> office until Monday November 30, 1998.
