Box 9300; MS 48 <br /> Minneapolis, MN 55440-9300 <br /> APPROVAL OF WORKPLAN <br /> Thank you for submitting the Soil Sampling Workplan for the Cargill Feed Product Facility <br /> at Port Road No. 8, Stockton. Although the workplan is a little vague, it is approved with <br /> the following additions: <br /> 1. Soil samples must be collected from the following intervals: 0-3',3-6', 6-9', 9-12', <br /> and 12.5'. Each of these samples must be field tested for nitrates, nitrites, and <br /> ammoniacal compounds. Because there will.be six borings, a total of 30 samples <br /> must be tested. <br /> 2. Soil samples from each 0-3' and 12.5' interval must be submitted to the laboratoryfor <br /> analysis of nitrate., ammonia, and total Kjeldahl nitrogen. <br /> 3. The actual sampling locations are not described. ,Therefore I need to be present on <br /> the first day of field work to approve the location of each boring. <br /> According to the workplan schedule, the field work should be completed by the end of <br /> February.
