I <br /> have been authorized to schedule an informal meeting that will <br /> include your client' s representatives, State Water Board staff <br /> from the Water Quality Division and the Bay-Delta section in the <br /> Water Rights Division, and Regional Water Board staff . The <br /> purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the issues addressed in <br /> your letter regarding the above-referenced petition and the water <br /> rights proceeding to implement the Bay-Delta requirements . This <br /> meeting will permit staff to get a better understanding of your <br /> client' s position. It may also provide an opportunity to reopen <br /> settlement discussions regarding your client' s petition. <br /> I would like to convene the meeting sometime during the week of <br /> October 2 . I will request State and Regional Water Board staff <br /> to identify dates they will be available to attend, and I will <br /> have my secretary schedule the meeting. Once a meeting date is <br /> set, I will notify all interested persons .
