The complaint proposes that the <br /> City pay 550,000.00 to the state' s Cleanup and Abatement Account. <br /> If the City agrees to pay the $50,000.00 civil liability proposed by the <br /> complaint, the City may waive a Board hearing on the matter. In order to <br /> provide notice of this complaint a waiver shall not be effective for 30 days. <br /> If the City wishes to waive a Board hearing, a duly authorized person should <br /> sign the waiver, and a check made out to the State of California should be <br /> remitted to this office. If the City chooses not to Day, the City may request a <br /> hearing and the Board will schedule a hearing on 23 August 1985. <br /> Please advise us of the City' s decision by 1 August 1985.
