STOCKTON MAIN WATER QUALITY <br /> CONTROL PLANT <br /> SA14 JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> RECEIVING WATER MONITORING <br /> All receiving water samples shall be grab samples. Those stations listed below which are <br /> in the relatively shallow upstream reach shall be sampled at mid-depth. All stations <br /> from the settling basin downstream shall be sampled at three feet below the surface and <br /> three feet above the channel bottom. In each case samples shall be collected from mid- <br /> stream. Receiving water samples shall be taken from the following: <br /> Station Description <br /> R-1 Brandts Bridge <br /> R-2 Garwood Bridge <br /> R-3 Settling Basin <br /> y t <br /> R-4 Light 45 <br /> R-5 Light 41 <br /> R-6 Light 36 <br /> R-7 Light 24 <br /> R-8 Light 18 <br /> Constituents Units Station Sampling Frecuency <br /> Dissolved Oxygen mg/1 R-1 through R-8 (1) <br /> pH Number R-1 through R-8 (1) <br /> Turbidity Turbidity R-1 through R-8 (1) <br /> Units <br /> Temperature 0 & of R-1 through R-8 (1) <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l R-1 through R-8 (1) <br /> Total Nitrogen mg/1 R-1 through R-8 (1) <br /> (1) During the portion of the year from 1 July through 30 November, Stations R-1 through <br /> R-8 shall be sampled daily at low slack tide, whcn practical, between 8:00 a.m. and <br /> 11:00 a.m. for Dissolved Oxygen and Temperature. During the portion of the year from <br /> 30 November through 1 July, receiving water Stations P:-2 through R-5 shall be monitored <br /> at least once per ween, unless hazardous water conditions prevent safe access to the <br /> sampling locatio«zi. <br /> (1) Daily 7 Days/Week <br /> - 2 - <br />
