The required corrections and recommenda- <br /> tions by this office are as follows: <br /> 1. Smith Station - Construction of an air-gap separation here is not <br /> satisfactory - the air-gap does not exist. Please refer to the <br /> enclosed sketches of acceptable air-gap separation construction <br /> and make the required changes to the existing device. <br /> 2, Lilval West - Same comment as No. 1. <br /> 3, Lilval East - This station is serviced by outside hosebibs. Minimum <br /> protection required here is an approved reduced pressure principle <br /> backflow protection device at the service entrance to the station. <br /> 4, Don Avenue Pump Station - Same comment as No. 1, <br /> 5, Davis and Thornton Station - Same comment as No, 3. <br /> 6. Quail Lake Station - Same comment as No. 3. <br /> 7, Stonewood Station - Same comment as No. 3, <br /> Annual inspections are required on backflow protection devices installed in <br /> the City's water system.
