CITY OF STOCKTON ITAIN WATER QUALITY CONTROL PLANT <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> 9. Effluent limitation, and toxic and pretreatment effluent standards established <br /> pursuant to Sections 208b, 301, 302, 303(d), 304, and 307 of the Federal Water Pol- <br /> lution Control Act and amendments thereto are applicable to the discharge. <br /> 10. The discharge from the City of Stockton Main Water Quality Control Plant is pres- <br /> ently governed by waste discharge requirements adopted by the Board on 7 November <br /> 1951 and 14 February 1969 in Resolution No. 51-85 and Resolution No. 69-200, <br /> respectively. <br /> 11. The Board has notified the discharger and interested agencies and persons of its <br /> intent to prescribe waste discharge requirements for this discharge and has pro- <br /> vided them with an opportunity for a public hearing and an opportunity to submit <br /> their written views and recommendations. <br /> 12. The Board in a public meeting heard and considered all comments pertaining to <br /> the discharge. <br /> 13. This Order shall serve as a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System <br /> permit pursuant to Section 402 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, or <br /> amendments thereto, and shall take effect ten days from the date of hearing pro- <br /> vided the Regional Administrator has no objections. <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, the City of Stockton Main Water Quality Control Plant, in order to <br /> meet the provisions contained in Division 7 of the California Water Code and regulations <br /> adopted thereunder and the provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act and <br /> regulations and guidelines adopted thereunder, shall comply with the following: <br /> A. Effluent Limitations: <br /> 1. Prior to 1 July 1977, the discharge of an effluent in excess of the following <br /> limits is prohibited: <br /> 30-day 7-day 30-day Daily <br /> Constituent Units Average Average Median Maximum <br /> B.O.D. (1) mg/1 30 45 -- 50 <br /> lbs/day 12,750 19,100 -- 21,250 <br /> Settleable Matter ml/1 -- -- -- 0.1 <br /> Chlorine Residual mg/l -- -- -- 0.1 <br /> Total Coliform(2) MPN/100 ml -- -- 23 500 <br /> Organisms <br /> Grease & Oil mg/1 10 -- -- 15 <br /> lbs/day 4,255 -- -- 6,380 <br /> (1) 5-Day, 200C Biochemical Oxygen Demand <br /> (2) Limits can be met at any point in the treatment system. <br /> 2 - <br />
