Receiving Water Limitations: <br /> 1. Prior to 1 July 1977, the discharge shall not cause the dissolved oxygen <br /> concentration in the San Joaquin River to fall below 3.0 mg/l. <br /> 2. Effective 1 July 1977, the discharge shall not cause the dissolved <br /> oxygen concentration in the San Joaquin River to fall below the following <br /> levels: <br /> 95th <br /> Units Minimum Median Percentile <br /> mg/l 5.0 -- — <br /> Percent of Saturation -- 85 75 <br /> When circumstances cause lesser levels upstream of the discharge, then the <br /> discharge shall cause no reduction. This requirement is subject to any <br /> modifications to the dissolved oxygen objectives as stated in the fully- <br /> developed Water Quality Control Plan for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta <br /> Basin, when the Plan becomes effective. <br /> 3. The discharge shall not cause visible oil, grease, scum, or foam in the <br /> receiving waters or watercourses. <br /> 4. The discharge shall not cause concentrations of any materials in the re- <br /> ceiving waters which are deleterious to human, animal, aquatic, or plant <br /> life. <br /> 5. The discharge shall not cause esthetically undesirable discoloration of <br /> the receiving waters. <br /> 6. The discharge shall not cause fungus, slimes, or other objectionable <br /> growths in the receiving waters. <br /> 7. The discharge shall not cause bottom deposits in the receiving waters. <br /> - 4 - <br />
