If this section is left blank, billing for SJCEHD services
will go to the property owner. Is that what you want?
Missing from the work plan:
1-a vicinity map and a SITE MAP that shows the location of the borings.
2-well/boring schematic that clearly shows dimensions and materials to be installed in the borehole.
3-Soil vapor probe destruction methods/materials were not included in the work plan but noted as"backfilled with
grout"on the permit application. Please include the procedure in the work plan revision.
4-schedule (field work start date, report of findings to SJCEHD submittal date)
other concerns:
1-you checked "air hammerlDriven'on the permit method of installation for these probes...really, air hammered?,
not Geoprobe?
2-grout specs have"NA"listed...this needs the material to be filled in. (Le: portland cement, or bentonite slurry,
or bentonite chips...)
Currently I have six projects trying to drill before THanksgiving and I will not be in the office Thanksgiving (short)
week. This means a very crowded next few days. If you intend to drill/do your field work BEFORE Thanksgiving I
suggest you get me ALL the information NOW. I may have to try to find another inspector to conduct your field
work, but I'll need to process and issue before I can hand off the work.
after you address the items above, you can return email them to me for processing. If your submittals are not here
by Friday, Nov 16, 10am (the latest), I won't have time to process and you will need to plan on drilling AFTER Nov
27.
thank you.
Michael J.
