The purpose of this <br /> Work Plan is to notify the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Services- <br /> Environmental Health Division(SJCEHS-EHD)of forthcoming Geoprobe®and <br /> groundwater sampling activities planned at the site. Furthermore,the Work Plan is <br /> intended to describe Chevron's intent to delineate the extent of impacted soil at <br /> locations where discovered contaminants were not vertically defined during recent <br /> pipeline removal and upgrade activities. <br /> ED <br /> This Work Plan includes a brief discussion of site background and previous �r <br /> investigations,proposed scope of work,and schedule. Field and laboratory procedures <br /> are presented as Attachment A. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Benjamin Holt Drive in., ��Gt <br /> Stockton,California The site is an operating Chevron service station that retails <br /> unleaded,premium unleaded,and super unleaded gasoline. Facilities at the site include <br /> three gasoline USTs and associated product lines and dispensers.
