PUBLIC HEALTH SMVICES <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION <br /> Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer .. <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor• Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> 209/468-3420 <br /> January 7, 1998 <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN for soil <br /> contamination from the underground storage tanks (UST's) located at 6633 Pacific <br /> Avenue, Stockton, Tracy has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). The plan is a proposal to remove <br /> soil which has been contaminated due to an unauthorized release from the UST's and <br /> piping which were located on the property. <br /> PHS/EHD has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with <br /> California Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.7, Section 25299.37 and California Code of <br /> Regulations Corrective Action Requirements, and that the resultant work will not create <br /> significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from <br /> cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The remediation plan is available for public review at PHS/EHD, 304 E. Weber <br /> Avenue, Stockton during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Final <br /> PHS/EHD approval for the plan is scheduled for January 8, 1998. <br /> Questions regarding the specific site concerns or procedures should be directed to <br /> Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS, at (209) 468-3449. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin Counry Health Care Services <br />
