22502 South Highway 99
Page 2
In order for Ripon Farm Service to investigate any contamination associated with
the former underground storage tanks located at 22871 South Highway 99, it will
be necessary to grant access to Olympian Oil property. PHS/EHD encourages you
to re-evaluate your position to deny access, given your responsibility should Ripon
Farm Service be unable to access your property. PHS/EHD suggests that you work
in cooperation with Ripon Farm Service.
If access is not granted, Olyrnpian.0il property will be placed into the Local
Oversight Program, which oversees and enforces corrective, action regulations
associated with releases from underground storage tanks, and you will be directed
to initiate soil and groundwater investigation.
Should you wish to remediate contamination beneath your property, which may
have resulted from your above ground tank system or drainage pond, please
contact the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss this correspondence, please contact
Mary Meays at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Mary Meays, Senior REHS Diane M.
