1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> On behalf of Olympian JV,Conestoga-Rovers &Associates, Inc. (CRA)has prepared this <br /> Well Destruction Report for the Jimco Truck Plaza facility (site) located at 1022 Frontage <br /> Road in Ripon, California. As a condition for environmental case closure, the remaining <br /> groundwater monitoring and "extraction 'wells at the site were properly destroyed <br /> according to agency guidelines. Well destruction activities were conducted in <br /> accordance with CRA's Well Destruction Work Plan dated May 15, 2012. The Work Plan <br /> was approved by.the California Regional-Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley <br /> Region (RWQCB) in a letter dated May 29, 2012 (Appendix A). Presented below are the <br /> L <br /> site description and well destruction activities. <br /> 2.0 SITE BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located at 1022 Frontage Road (formerly 22502 South Highway 99) in Ripon, <br /> California (Figure 1.): The site is at an elevation of approximately 58 feet above mean <br /> sea level (ft amsl) with generally flat topography. It operates as a truck service station <br /> with several structural improvements. Along the northern property boundary are ` <br /> several contiguous buildings that facilitate the operation of several retail businesses <br /> including a convenience store, a restaurant, a coin-operated laundry facility, an office <br /> building, and a warehouse that contains several.diesel truck repair shops. A separate <br /> structure near the southern boundary of the site accommodates a truck wash and truck II <br /> service bay. Other site improvements include 10 fuel dispensers, one split 8,000-gallon <br /> and 12,000-gallon gasoline underground storage tank (UST), diesel pump station, <br /> four 30,000-gallon diesel aboveground storage tanks (ASTs),.propane tank, and truck <br /> scale.
