Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2003 <br /> • JIMCO TRUCK PLAZA <br />' 22502 South Highway 99, Ripon, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Dan Koch of Olympian Oil Company, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br />' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the Jimco Truck Plaza, located at 22502 South Highway <br /> 99, Ripon, California(the site) The scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring and <br /> preparation of this report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are illustrated <br /> on Figure 1 The site structures, boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)forthe subsurface investigation ofunderground <br /> storage tank(UST)sites Background information,including details ofprevious site assessment work, <br />' was presented in AGE's report titled Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report(PIER),dated <br /> 13 December 1999 <br />' 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> lie <br /> Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the CVRWQCB for the <br /> investigation of UST sites and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for <br /> sampling of ground water monitoring wells <br /> 1 <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING <br /> On 07 November 2003, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br />' from the well casing tops in wells MW-1 through MW-9 The depths to ground water are surnmanzed <br /> in Table 1 <br /> After water levels were gauged, disposable plastic bailers were used to purge the monitoring wells <br /> of minimum of three casing-water volumes(approximately to gallons)of ground water Free-phase <br />' product was measured in well MW-6 at 0 01 feet thick For wells the temperature, pH, and <br /> conductivity were measured at approximately one or three-gallon intervals using an Oakton Water <br /> Analyzer The field data sheets are Included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on site in 55- <br /> gallon drums <br /> 22 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION <br /> • <br />' Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
