1 - ' Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2004 JIMCO TRUCK PLAZA ' 22502 South Highway 99, Ripon, California ' 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr Dan Koch of Olympian Oil Company, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc ' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the Jlmco Truck Plaza,located at 22502 South Highway 99,Ripon,California(the site) The scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring and ' preparation of this report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 The site structures, boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 ' This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the subsurface investigation of ' underground storage tank (UST) sites Background information, including details of previous site assessment work, was presented in AGE's report titled Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report (PIER), dated 13 December 1999 2.0 PROCEDURES lie Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the CVRWQCB for the investigation of UST sites and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) ' for sampling of ground water monitoring wells ' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING On 22 July 2004, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water from ' the well casing tops in wells MW-1 through MW-9 The depths to ground water are summarized in Table 1 ' After water levels were gauged, disposable plastic bailers were used to purge the monitoring wells of a minimum ofthree casing-water volumes(approximately 0 6 to 15 gallons)of ground water The ' purged water temperature,pH, and conductivity were measured at regular purge intervals using an Oakton Water Analyzer,the field data sheets are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in 55-gallon drums 0 Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
