• 16 August 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 98-0433 <br /> IPage 5 of 5 <br /> • Due to the lowest water table level recorded at the site since the initiation of ground water <br /> I monitoring,the majonty of the petroleum-impacted soil is currently within the'vadose zone, <br /> thus providing a window of opportunity to remediate the site An immediate, interim soil- <br /> vapor extraction and potentially air-sparging program should be conducted in the former <br /> UST area,to mitigate approximately 20 vertical-feet of MTBE- and BTEX-impacted soil in <br /> the vadose zone <br />' • Preparation of a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to mitigate the dissolved MTBE near the <br /> former UST location and near the on-site domestic well <br /> I <br /> 6.0.
