Box 960001 <br /> Stockton, California 95296-0250 <br /> RESPONSE TO JUNE 5, 2002 EXTENSION REQUEST LETTER FOR DEFENSE <br /> DISTRIBUTION DEPOT SAN JOAQUIN (DDJC), SHARPE SITE, LATHROP, <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> Dear Mr. Benson: <br /> The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has received the June 5, 2002 <br /> letter requesting an extension to the Federal Facilities Agreement schedule for two <br /> secondary documents for the DDJC-Sharpe Site: Draft Final Institutional Controls <br /> Remedial Action Report (IC RAR), and Final IC RAR <br /> The extension request rationale for the Draft Final IC RAR is to allow additional time <br /> for the DDJC-Sharpe Remedial Project Managers including the United States <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) to discuss the applicability of the January 14, <br /> 2002 letter from the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense.
