Harlan Road, Lathrop, CA <br /> (Assessor Parcel Number 19603020) <br /> On July 1, 2008, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) conducted a <br /> site visit and observed an abandoned irrigation well that exists on the above referenced <br /> property. The irrigation well is approximately twenty inches in diameter and is located on the <br /> east area of the property. <br /> This abandoned well is in violation of San Joaquin County Ordinance Code, Title 9, Section 9- <br /> 1115.5(e), Abandonment of Wells, and the San Joaquin County Well Standards Section 6.1, <br /> Destruction of Wells. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1115.10, "any violation <br /> of this Chapter shall constitute a public nuisance subject to enforcement under the provisions of <br /> Title 8, Division 5 of this Code, also known as the Housing and Nuisance Abatement Code." <br /> Within 30 days from the date of this notice obtain a well destruction permit to proped <br /> destroy the abandoned well Onlv a licensed well contractor (C-57) or his authorized <br /> _representative is allowed to make application for the well destruction permit For your <br /> convenience a list of licensed well contractors is enclosed.
