The agreement is in accordance with the <br /> California Health and Safety Code Section 25222. 1. <br /> Ground water contamination from the Defense Logistics <br /> Agency, Defense Distribution Region West, Sharpe Site has <br /> migrated offsite and is under portions of the subject property. <br /> The purpose of the agreement is to ensure that future residents <br /> of the subject property are not exposed to contaminated ground <br /> water. The enclosed "Notice of Public Comment" describes the <br /> property and the proposed Land Use Restriction agreement, and <br /> notifies the public of the thirty (30) day comment period.
