Meetings with Regulatory Agencies: <br /> (1) April 10, 1992 - San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control <br /> District, San Joaquin County Zone Hearing. Requested variance from permit <br /> requirements for pilot insitu vapor extraction system. Variance was granted. <br /> (2) April 22, 1992 - Project Manager' s conference call. <br /> (3) May 7, 1992 - Project Manager' s Meeting at DDRW Sharpe Facility. <br /> c. Other RI/FS Activities: <br /> (1) April 1992 - Completed short term injection tests. Extended test <br /> postponed until after analysis of North Balloon Groundwater Treatment System <br /> for PCB's and metals. <br /> (2) April/May 1992 Environmental Science and Engineering (ESE) took <br /> Groundwater Treatment System samples and analyzed for PCB and metals. <br /> Extraction wells and various monitoring wells near or down gradient of UST <br /> monitoring well M472A were also sampled. <br /> (3) April 28, 1992 - California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> performed Groundwater Treatment System and Sewage Treatment System Permits <br /> inspection. Samples were taken at both Groundwater Treatment Systems and <br /> analyzed for VOCs, PCBs, pesticides, and heavy metals. <br /> 5. REMEDIAL REMOVAL AND INVESTIGATION ACTIVITIES: Remedial and/or removal <br /> activities. <br /> a. The North and South Balloon Groundwater Treatment Systems continued <br /> to operate during this report period. More details on the operation of the <br /> system are included in the monthly NPDES Report. <br /> b. New extraction wells NB-5, NA-8, and NA-9 went into operation during <br /> the quarter. <br /> 6. REMEDIAL REMOVAL AND INVESTIGATION ACTIVITIES: Other Activities <br /> None. <br />
