Mr. Marshall Cloud • - 4 - 25 February 2008
Defense Logistics Agency
Regional Water Board staff does not concur with DESJC proposals to reduce the private well
sampling frequencies. To be protective, these wells must continue to be sampled quarterly
at a minimum.
The status of potable wells PW007, PW 037, and PW044 are listed as unknown in
Table 3.2-2. DESJC must determine the status of these and any other potable well during
each scheduled sampling period. The owner and/or user of each well must be contacted
during each event to ascertain the current status of each well. The Annual Report must
present the details of these contacts.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (916) 464-4675, or by email at
jbrownell@waterboards.ca.gov.
James R.
