• 1 . Immediately after an emergency, the Coordinator must provide for <br /> treating, storing, or disposing of recovered waste, contaminated soil , or <br /> surface water. <br /> m. The Emergency Coordinator must ensure that in the affected area of <br /> the facility: <br /> (1) No waste that may be incompatible with the released material <br /> is generated or stored until clean-up procedures are completed. <br /> (2) All equipment used in the emergency is cleaned and fit for use. <br /> n. The Emergency Coordinator must notify the Regional Administrator, <br /> State, and local authorities that the facility is in compliance before <br /> operations are resumed. <br /> Authorities: <br /> EPA Regional IX <br /> California Department of Health Services', <br /> Hazardous Materials Management Section <br /> California Water Quality Control Board <br /> . San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services <br /> o. Within 15 days after the incident, a written report must be submitted <br /> on the incident to the Regional DHS. Information to be reported is listed on <br /> page II-10. <br /> p. Should a major stoppage on work occur, then appropriate notification <br /> to higher headquarters in accordance with the disaster control plan will be <br /> made. If the EOC is activated, this notification will occur through that <br /> facility and DHS. <br /> q. The date, time, and details of any incident involving the use of the <br /> contingency plan must be noted in the operating record (Run Report) . Verbal <br /> consultation by the IOSC with other emergency response personnel should be <br /> followed with written documentation. <br /> II-11 <br /> (10/23/90) <br />
