Weber St. Fifth Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: 1881 Rustan Road <br /> Corral Hollow and West i It' <br /> Tracy, CA <br /> Synopsis of Activity at Corral Hollow Commercial Site <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: <br /> As you requested, Earth Systems Consultants Northern (.'alifornia (ESCNC) is providing the following <br /> synopsis of activity associated with the Tracy site, performed for Ridgeway MacKenzie Partnership, <br /> now RRG-RMC/LLG-Tracy. The property associated with 1881 Rustan Road has also been referred <br /> to as the 14 Acre Commercial Development in some reports and documents, and the property <br /> associated with 1755 West 11th Street has also been referred to as the Pombo Property. The <br /> investigations can be separated into environmental and geotechnical. The following is a <br /> chronological list of the dates and reports of investigations that ESCNC has completed at the subject <br /> sites: <br /> 1. 2/11/99 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for 1881 Rustan Road <br /> 2. 5/17/99 Soil Engineering Study for the 14 Acre Commercial Development <br /> 3. 7/20/99 Percolation Test Results for the Pombo Property <br /> 4. 5/24/99 File Review and Pesticide and Petroleum Sampling Results <br /> 5. 8/23/99 Chevron Right-of-Way Relocation Preliminary Assessment Soil Sampling <br /> 6. 8/24/99 Chevron Right-of-Way Relocation Preliminary Assessment Soil Sampling <br /> Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (PSA) <br /> fiSC'N(" was contracted by RRG-RM(/LL(i- Tracy to perform a geotechnical evaluation and phase <br /> one environmental site assessment in January 1999. A Phase I environmental site assessment report <br /> was issued on February 11, 1999. Due to the length of time required by to prepare files for review at <br /> the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD), the file <br /> review was not included in the PSA. Instead, a supplemental letter report (dated 5/24/99) was <br /> completed after the file review at the PHS/EHD. <br /> The potential environmental concerns identified in the PSA included the high pressure petroleum <br /> pipeline on the northern side of Byron Road, pesticides used during the site's agricultural history, <br /> and the possible presence of an old gas station (during the 1940s and 1950s) in the western corner of <br /> the intersection of the railroad tracks and West 11th Street. ESCNC recommended that, prior to <br />
