Barber P.E. & Associates in your office <br /> June 4. 2002. <br /> We are in agreement to place the mentioned"at least two more monitoring wells on site to obtain <br /> groundoater tlow gradient information, soil samples and ground water quality monitoring <br /> (Condition 1 ). Additionally, we concur with your request that we do not rinse sample bottles <br /> (Condition 41 nor collect water samples with a bladder pump (Condition 5.) and will instead use <br /> lad-prepared volatile organic analysis (VOA) bottles and factory packaged disposable bailers for <br /> the collection of ground water samples. We agree that holding times will not exceed 14 days from <br /> time of ccl ec ion and then only, If preservatives were used in the groundwater samples, <br /> otheW. se holding time will be limited to 7 days(Condition 6.). <br /> We attemp,eu eo utilize a Geoprobe®on 5 June 2002 and found progress to be very slow due to <br /> sal strata at 20 to 25 FT bgs. After review with you and consideration of eventual monitoring well <br /> installation we employed Woodward Drilling Co of Rio Mata (installed site's MW-1, in December <br /> 2000) to ins`ai' four additional monitoring wells, three on site and one off site.
