4 CONTROLS <br /> [ 41 Health and Safety Plan <br /> The plan presented in the October 17, 2000 work plan continues in effect but must be <br /> 1 L 1 reviewed and updated prior to resumption of exploration activity at the Acampo site <br /> L <br /> 4.2 Work Plan & Schedule <br /> Scheduling of characterization work has considered the following The source of <br /> additional contaminants has been removed Equipment and manpower resources are <br /> limited and may require upwards to 6 weeks advance notice and commitment Work will <br /> be performed by WO&S using subcontracted equipment and manpower under the <br /> direction of D K Barber P E and Associates Technical guidance and sampling will be <br /> carried out by a licensed civil engineer responsible to WO&S <br /> Following agency review, comments, and approval of additional work, the site layout, <br /> ' underground utility location, and well drilling permit application will commence <br /> immediately Borings and monitoring well construction tentative scheduling will consider a <br /> duration to be two to six weeks depending upon extent of borings, laboratory findings and <br /> weather A minimum of two weeks turnaround time for all state certified laboratory testing <br /> is anticipated unless quicker turnaround time would benefit the protect, in which case, <br /> ' turnaround time may be shortened at greater cost <br /> The earlier Interim Phase 11 report prepared by D K Barber P E & Associates reflected <br /> work and findings between November 2000 and February 28, 2002 (Reference Appendix <br /> H) The report was amended April 26, 2002 (Reference Appendix 1) with the most <br /> recently collected monitoring well data <br /> ' The target completion date of all sampling at the Acampo Plant Site is July 30, 2002 <br /> Completion date will be highly dependent upon weather delays and any further testing <br /> ' incurred with additional Phase II characterization <br /> Final report preparation will require about 60 days after the final quarterly monitoring <br /> well(s) sampling <br /> ( 4-7 <br />
