14 Phase It Plan Development <br /> The Phase II definition stage continues to have several objectives <br /> The objectives of this workplan are to <br /> (1) carryout onsite activities in a safe and agreed logical order <br /> (2) refine soil characterization at the site to support further remediation or risk <br /> based decisions <br /> (3) characterize impact to shallow groundwater at or near the site to support <br /> further remediation or risk based decisions <br /> (4) achieve closure of the site in a timely, economically defendable method <br /> (5) substantiate reasonable financial expenditures :n the event reimbursement <br /> is sought from the California State UST Cleanup Fund <br /> A draft copy of this workplan is being submitted to the San Joaquin County's <br /> Environmental Health Division and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board for comment prior to finalization and implementation After receiving approval to <br /> proceed, WO&S will promptly schedule the field activities The subsequent reports will <br /> ' be issued within four weeks following receipt of the certified analytical reports for <br /> sample analysis Where closure is supported, a request for closure and a final report <br /> will be issued <br /> 1-4 <br />
