Workplan for 19256 North Highway 99- 12/22/98 page 5 <br /> Job No 024 98 <br /> 2.0 PROPOSED SITE WORK <br /> Site work will be conducted in a step-wise manner to allow for changes in the scope of work The <br /> overall project is outlined below <br /> 2.1 Subsurface Site Investigation <br /> 1 Submit Work Plan to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division's (SJCEHD) <br />' for approval <br /> 2 Notify Mr Jeffrey Wong, SJCEHD at (209) 468-0335, 72 hours prior to commencement of <br />' site work <br /> 3 Locate and mark boring locations with white paint and notify Mr Hopkins (925) 228-1515, <br />' at least 72 hours prior to commencement of site work <br /> 4 Locate and mark boring locations with white paint, then notify Underground Service Alert <br /> (USA), (800) 227-2600, at least 48 hours prior to commencement of work <br /> 5 Drill six (6) soil borings to a depth of approximately 40 feet bgs at the proposed locations <br />� . shown in Figure 2 Three soil samples will be selected from each boring and analyzed for <br /> MTBE,TPH-d,TPH-g,and BTEX. One groundwater"grab"sample will be selected from <br /> each boring and analyzed for the fuel oxygenates DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME, and TBA <br /> ' using EPA Method 8260 and for TPH-d, TPH-g, and the fuel constituents BTEX using EPA <br /> Method 8015/8020 <br /> ' 6 All soil cuttings will be placed in D O T approved 55-gallon drums, or will be placed on and <br /> covered with six-incl Visquene The cuttings will be temporarily stored onsite pending <br /> laboratory analytical results All rinseate and purged water, will be temporarily stored onsite <br /> in DOT approved 55-gallon drums for later disposal <br /> ' 7 A report will be prepared and submitted to the SJCEHD The report will include a site <br /> history, summary of all findings, laboratory results, and recommendations for site closure or <br /> further action, if necessary <br />
