Upgradiert Environmental tnsultants
April 24, 1996
Maria Bardot - COPY
PY
11501 Eagle Bay Road,
Acampo, CA 95220
Dear Mrs . Bardot:
As instructed by the San Joaquin County Division of
Environmental Health agency, our company attempted to contact you
by mail in March of this year regarding environmental
investigations that we ate currently performing at Gillies Trucking
Company at 3831 Newton Road in Stockton. We have been requested to
drill groundwater monitoring wells on the adjacent parcel, located
at 3851 Newton Road. County assessor' s lists show your name as the
principal owner of this parcel. To date, you have not responded to
our request for permission to drill on your property, causing a
delay in the progress of the project. Failure to comply promptly
with County requirements could jeopardize Mr. Gillies' opportunity
to receive financial reimbursement from the State for the
investigation. Failure to respond to this request could also result
in the State holding you financially responsible for any petroleum
contamination that may be found on your side of the property line.
Please respond to this request by returning a signed copy of
the enclosed letter authorizing us to enter your property and
install two groundwater monitoring wells. If you have any questions
or are uncertain' about this request, you may call our office, Mr.
Ken Gillies at Gillies Trucking, or Mr. Steve Sasson at San Joaquin
County. The phone numbers are given below.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Si cerely
Victor B.
