(Attached is a telephone memo describing a
follow up telephone call between you and Diane Hinson. )
PHS/EHD believes that groundwater monitoring performed to date (through July 29,
1993) should provide adequate data to evaluate your site for potential closure
certification. The most recent sampling event, July 29, 1993, demonstrated the
anticipated rise in groundwater elevation and this data coupled with the previous
year's quarterly monitoring will be studied to determine the necessity for a
continued investigation.
We appreciate your inquiry into this matter and hope that we may resolve the
issue as to whether additional site investigation will be necessary.
If you have any questions, please contact Diane Hinson, Supervising REHS, of my
staff at (209) 468-3452.
Jogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
ealth officer
Gam---
Donna Heran, REHS, Program Manager
Environmental Health Division
DH/dmh
Attachment
cc: CVRWQCV, Attn: B.
